About This Bill
THE ISSUES
Dangerous Dog attacks are increasing every year. Victims are the youngest, the oldest, and often the least mobile people in our neighborhoods. Victims are often our own unsuspecting pets on their leashes. Help us pass this bill for a better future for our state and our country! Join this historical campaign and stand up for the values that make us free from fear.
THE PATH FORWARD
We were not successful in the 2024 legislative session, we ran out of time. We learned so much about sending the right messages and letting our neighbors help us when we need it. We will have some new sponsors as well as veteran sponsors in 2025 There will be many opportunities to tell our stories in Tallahassee in 2025. We can share our testimony in person: 3 House and 3 Senate committees help us earn a full Senate and House floor vote.
A SAFER FLORIDA
No one deserves what Pam and so many of our victims suffered at no fault of their own. The strong must protect those who cannot protect themselves. Man's "Best Friend" must be secured and owners must be held accountable when their dangerous dogs attack others. Remember these additional controls only apply to those animals that have acted aggressively. Lets bring down the fatalities to zero.
